My goal is to give my students the tools they will need in their actors "tool box" to be the best that they can be at their craft. Each box is filled with different things, unique to the individual. Through creative and cooperative games which teach empathy, teamwork, listening skills, and independence, we work together as a family to become as knowledgeable as possible.
My name is Betty Monroe, owner and head teacher at Lights, Camera, Kids!
I created this business as a loving venture. With over 22 years of experience as an early childhood and elementary level educator, a mom of three, and a working artist/actor myself, I decided to foster and combine my love of the arts and teaching to create a safe and nurturing learning space. My desire is for your child or young adult to learn in their own space and time, all the while maintaining a family community in a judgement free zone.
